RUTA TREKKING / TREKKING ROUTE

¡Hola! ¡Ya estamos a jueves! ¡Qué rápido pasa la semana!
Hello! It is already Thursday! The week is passing quite quick!

Además me ayuda mucho a desconectar y a descubrir sitios preciosos.
A few weeks ago I commented that I wanted to initiate myself into trekking and running. I have started with trekking and the truth is that it is a sport that I love. I think it is a sport recommended for this time of year, where temperatures are very soft and feels so good to be outdoors. Also it helps me disconnect and discover beautiful places.

My first route through the mountains of Madrid began in "Barranca Valley" located in the mountain side of "Bola del Mundo" and of "La Maliciosa" in the "Guadarrama mountain range"

We started walking down "Linar path" and we left on our right  the "reservoir of Barranca" and just above the "Air Force reservoir". Later we found white and yellow markings belonging to PR-M17 which we follow. We arrived at "Mingo fountain" where we took a small path that climbs through pine trees to reach the "hill of the Emburriaderos"

Later we continue to climb up to "the peak Guarramillas" (Bola del Mundo) 2265 meters!
In "Bola del Mundo" there are several TV and radio repeaters. The views are breathtaking!

Finally the descent to the "Barranca" it was not easy as it was quite steep and with many stones, so on to the pine forest and the "fountain of Campanilla" few feet below reach the point where we began our route.

I hope you liked it and encourage to practice.

A good plan for the weekend, isn´t it?
